Snickerdoodles

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 cup butter

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 3 cups flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tarter

  • cinnamon and sugar

Directions:

  1. Cream together sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla.

  2. In a separate bowl combine flour, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar. Mix well.

  3. Combine the sugar and flour mixtures together and mix well.

  4. Form into 1 inch balls. Roll in cinnamon and sugar and place on cookie sheet.

  5. Bake at 375 F for 8 to 10 minutes.

  6. Remove from oven and slightly flatten with a spatula; remove from cookie sheet and place on wire rack to cool. Enjoy!
