Barbecued Meat Balls and Rice

Ingredients:

  • 3 pound ground beef

  • 1 large chopped onion

  • 1 can evaporated milk or 1/2 cup milk

  • 2 cups oatmeal

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 2 tablespoons chili powder

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

  1. Combine all of the ingredients into a large bowl and mix well.

  2. Spoon into 2 inch balls and set in casserole dish.

  3. Set aside.

Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups ketchup

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 2 tablespoons worchershire sauce or liquid smoke

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in saucepan and mix well.

  2. Heat on medium until sugar is dissolved.

  3. Scoop sauce over each meatball until all sauce is gone.

  4. Cover dish and bake at 350 F for one hour.

  5. Remove from oven and serve over rice.

  6. Enjoy this meal with a side of veggies.
